DenDenLens Support

Answers for scanning, catalog and market data, accounts, and anything else in DenDenLens.

Direct support

How can we help?

DenDenLens support is provided by PT. FUBUKI SOFT INDONESIA, which operates the Fubukisoft brand. Email contact@fubukisoft.com from the address connected to your DenDenLens account where possible. Include your device type, OS version, app version, and a short description of what happened. Never send us your password.

Scanning cards

The camera will not open

DenDenLens needs camera permission to scan a card. On iOS, check Settings → DenDenLens → Camera. On Android, check Settings → Apps → DenDenLens → Permissions. You can decline camera access and still use the rest of the app.

A card is not recognised, or the wrong card is matched

Fill the frame with the card, keep it flat, avoid glare and heavy shadow, and hold steady until the shutter fires. If the match is still wrong, you can correct it before confirming. Alternate artwork, reprints, and different regional editions are separate entries — check that the set and edition shown are the ones you have.

Importing a photo instead

You can import a card photo or a listing screenshot from your photo library rather than scanning live. This needs photo-library permission, which you can also decline.

Catalog and cards

DenDenLens matches your cards against a canonical catalog so that a card keeps its identity across reprints and editions. Sets, releases, and artwork variants stay separately addressable, and the app keeps an offline snapshot so browsing works without a connection.

If a card or set is missing, out of date, or has the wrong image, email us with the set code and card number and we will look at the catalog entry.

Prices and market data

Prices in DenDenLens are derived from recorded price observations, each carrying its source. The app shows confidence and liquidity alongside a figure rather than presenting a single number as fact, and figures that cannot be supported are not shown.

Prices are estimates, not valuations.

Market information may be incomplete or out of date. It is not an offer, a professional valuation, or investment advice. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for a purchase or sale.

If a price looks clearly wrong, send us the card, the set, the edition, and a screenshot, and we will check the underlying observations.

Ask Goro

Goro is the in-app assistant. It explains and interprets; it does not produce the numbers. Every market figure Goro can state is supplied by the app’s deterministic engine and checked against that engine before you see it. If a generated answer contains a figure the engine did not produce, the figure is withheld and the engine’s own value is shown instead.

If no assistant provider is configured or reachable, the sheet still shows the engine’s summary, so the underlying information remains available.

Accounts and sync

Do I need an account?

No. DenDenLens starts in guest mode and the main journeys work without signing in. An account exists so your portfolio, watchlist, and settings persist and follow you to a new device.

I cannot sign in

Confirm you are using the same sign-in method and email address you used to create the account. Update to the latest version, check your connection, and try again. If it continues, email us and tell us which sign-in method you used.

I changed phones

Install DenDenLens and sign in with the same account and sign-in method. Content saved to your account becomes available once sync finishes. Anything created in guest mode lives only on the original device.

Quick troubleshooting

  1. Check your connection.
Catalog browsing works offline, but scanning results and market data need a connection.
  2. Update DenDenLens.
Install the newest version available from your app store.
  3. Restart the app and device.
Close DenDenLens completely, restart your phone, and try again.
  4. Send useful details.
If the problem remains, tell us your phone model, OS version, app version, and the steps that trigger it.

Privacy and account deletion

Our Privacy Policy explains how DenDenLens handles information. To delete your account and the data attached to it, use the deletion option in the app or visit our public account-deletion page.
